Amy Barbieri

Financial Advisor



Amy is a Lecanto High School alum and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida. While attending UCF, Amy worked in accounting for an Orlando firm, interned at the local branch of Raymond James, and was accepted to UCF’s Center for Financial Planning. Amy also holds an MBA degree and certificate in financial services from the University of Florida.

Between degrees, Amy worked as an analyst in the Financial Planning division of Raymond James’ international headquarters. There she provided technical consultation to company advisors in all planning areas, including: financial, tax, estate and retirement. Amy also passed the CFP® Certification exam and worked closely with the 529 manager to be a primary resource on education savings programs.

Amy and her husband Stephen, who is an attorney for a local law firm, live in Citrus Springs with their son Logan and daughter Sophie. Amy is the Vice President of the Citrus County Education Foundation, and past Advisory Council Member of the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation, Relay for Life team captain to benefit the American Cancer Society, and Citrus Springs Elementary Student Advisory Enhancement Council member.



Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

To maintain certification, CFP® license holders must complete 30 hours of continuing education accepted by the CFP Board every two years.
